Huh? Well really all this means is that MIDI files are computer generated or synthesised music files. Their main use is with electronic keyboard synthesisers but because they are computer generated they do lend themselves to karaoke applications. Getting the graphics part of a standard karaoke track is usually the hard part, but with as MIDI is computer generated the graphics part is much easier. There is a bifg down side to this though - THE MUSIC IS NOT REAL and usually sounds like its being played on a stylophone (ask your dad or Rolf Harris!).
