OPTION 1

Purchase one of the basic value for money all-in-one karaoke machines for about $80. For this price you normally don't get any fancy features such as echo or pitch control. But The-Karaoke-Advisor.com has spotted some great deals on a site called Kalyx.com - don't be put off by the fact that their main products are to do with health food! They have a personal audio section which hides some of the best karaoke deals on the internet! For under $72 you will get a machine with a cdg player, amp, and speaker which is capable of connecting to another sound system. You even get echo and voice controls - unbelievable for the price!

Home karaoke machines that you make yourself!!

You need:-

• A DVD player
• A microphone
• A TV (preferably with a RCA/Scart socket)

Most people now have a dvd player - a lot of the more expensive ones will play cdg's and even if it won't you could simply buy karaoke dvd's instead of cdg's. Likewise your dvd player may have microphone inputs or if not check your stereo. Buy a microphone (from as little as $12) and plug it in, connect your dvd to your TV and you stereo and away you go. If you only have to buy a microphone, this would be a very cheap karaoke machine indeed!
